HaWAii

Yes we are still alive! Our little blog has experienced some serious neglect....poor blog. My plan is to document our most recent events and hopefully go back and catch up with the last few months.

Jon and I traveled to Hawaii a couple weeks ago. It was simply amazing! When they talk about Hawaii being a paradise, they were not kidding. We stayed in Oahu on the North Shore at Turtle Bay. It was simply beautiful! I am now trying to overcome my serious Hawaii withdrawals. I think I should be able to fully recover soon. Oh how I wish I could just live there on the beach.

So I have been attempting to upload the Millions of pictures on our blog from the trip. After the computer shutting down twice on me and the blog not allowing me to view the pictures I have uploaded, I am simply giving up. I cannot see which picture is which, so I can't document what each picture is exactly. So I have decided to highlight our week of heaven and you can guess which picture matches each event...good luck.

-Arrived in Honolulu, went directly to Waikiki Beach...ran out to the ocean and drank our first of many Pina Coladas.

-Posed under a huge banyan tree...Jon's favorite.

-Beautiful views in Hotel and Hotel room. It was so heavenly to open our windows and hear the ocean below.

-Visited the Dole Pineapple Plantation twice...another of Jon's favs.

-Enjoyed Hawaiian Shaved ice and ate Shrimp from a roadside truck...one of my favs.

-Swam in the Wiamai falls...beautiful.

-Visited the Polynesian Cultural Center twice.

-Two of our favorite performers were the fire guy and the huge and hilarious drum guy.

-Ate at the delicious Luau at the PCC.

-Hiked the beach at our Resort and stumbled upon a turtle on the beach. Noticed there was a family of turtles swimming in the ocean. Decided to join them....awesome!

-Found a private cove on our hike and went swimming.

-Snorkeled to our hearts content at the resort and at Shark's Cove....one of my favs. I am seriously considering doing Scuba diving now...it was so awesome!
