Harly's First Day of Preschool!

Harly had her first day of preschool today! Yippee!!! We thought she was a little nervous beforehand. She kept giving Daddy lots of loves at home and wanted to just sit with him for a while. (She is totally daddy's little girl. It is very sweet!) But when we got to school, she was ready to go. She walked in and saw her cousin Nick and her good friend Julia already there and was very excited! We took some cute pics of her with Nick and Julia and a new friend in the class. You will notice that Nick has his arm around her in all the pics. As soon as we came into school, he had his arm around her to make sure she was OK. It's soooo great to have a cousin in school to watch out for her. In fact, before school, Jon sat down with her and told her that if she ever needed anything, she could ask Nick and he would help her and protect her. Nick is such a good cousin.

So when it was time to pick her up, she was way excited to see mommy and tell me all about her class. She had lots of fun and even gets to bring the snack basket on thursday. She is such a big girl now!

Wow! Both out of the house??? What do you do? I'm hyperventilating with just one. :) No, really Dylan had a great day, and of course can't wait to go back again tomorrow. I guess I should be happy that he likes it, all too soon there'll be a day when he's dreading school and I'll have to drag him there, right? ;0)
Congrats Harly! You're such a big girl! We miss you guys!

Party time for Heather!! This means you can babysit for me right?? Just kidding. I never need a sitter anyway. haha.

That is so cute that Nick was being protective of Harly. I bet she will have so much fun. She looks so big with her backpack! So cute!

I was a little jealous when I realized that you have no kids for 2 and half hours twice a week!!! I guess my time will come. Nicolas is very protective of his cousins and brothers. He is excited that Harly is in his class!!
