Hiking in Phoenix

Look at the awesome view! Sady had so much fun!

Jadyn was a little pooped. Maegan was so nice and gave her a ride for a bit.

Jadyn, Harly, Gavin and Aiden

The girls. I had the hardest time getting them to hold still. They were way excited!
Gavin being a gentleman and helping Jadyn down the hill. Cute!

Jadyn sliding down the "Mountain."

Harly enjoying the "Mountain."

Our speedy Gonzalez. She was ahead of us most of the time.

This past Friday after school, the girls and I went on a little hike near our home. We went to this area right next to the 51 and 101 freeways that is a desert preserve. (I think it is a preserve. Nothing is going to be built there. Which is way nice for us.) It was really cool becuz it was so close to our house, yet we felt like we were out hiking in the wilderness. And not to mention the beautiful weather we had. We had so much fun! We can't wait to go again with our sweet friends the Snows. Thanks guys...

That's one of the things we miss about Arizona, hiking in the desert is a lot of fun.

Hiking...wow! I haven't done that in a loooong time! This is the perfect weather to be doing it also. Maybe we should take our kids out to the White Tanks mountains out here and hike one Saturday morning. I bet they would LOVE that! Thanks for the idea.
