Today is my Dad's birthday. I wanted to post some of the reasons why I love my Dad:
He is so kind and patient. I think I love this about him the most. He has been so mild mannered and kind since forever. I remember in High School, I was having a certain difficulty, and he came in my room and just sat and patiently listened as I talked about the drama that was my life at the time. That really meant a ton to me. I know that I try to follow his example of this always.
He is an awesome father to six totally amazing kids. What can I say, we are pretty dang cool because we have such a cool dad.
He is a loving husband to my wonderful mom. This has always been a great example to me in my life as I have tried to be a sweet and loving wife to my adorable hubby. (yep I said adorable when talking about my manly and tough hubby. he is quite adorable.)
He is the sweetest grandpa to my two little angels. They just love their grandpa so much and love spending time with him.
He is always willing to help anyone out. I remember my mom telling me the story of driving to the hospital to deliver me and she had to tell him not to stop and help someone on the side of the road change a tire. That is totally my dad.
I love the relationship that he and my Jon have. They are really good friends, which I just love.
And basically, he sets a great example for me and my little family by loving us so much.
