Me and my good friend Courtney

We had a super fun Halloween this year. Jadyn was a diva and Harly was a gyspy. We asked Jadyn what exactly a diva was and she said it was someone who lives in the jungle. So as long as she keeps thinking like that and not getting a diva like attitude, we are doing good. (I think she really just loved the costume because it was purple and had fur. And she loves it becuz grandma gave it to her. We love grandma.) Harly had two costumes to choose from this year, a princess and gypsy. I asked her which costume she wanted to wear for Halloween and she made it very clear to me that the princess one is not a costume, but is actually part of her wardrobe. It was very funny! So she wears the princess one as clothing as much as she can. I must say she made a very cute gypsy.
We had our ward trunk or treat on Halloween which was fun as always. Jadyn was off enjoying all the fun pre trunk or treat festivities. We kept asking, where did Jadyn go? She is our little social butterfly. Harly just wanted to sit and eat the candy she got from Grandma's house right before. When it came time to trunk or treat, they got a ton of candy. (yippe skippy) We came back to our car to hand out candy to the other trick or treaters and discovered we were all out. So Jadyn decided that she would pass out candy from her own bucket to the other kids. I was very impressed that she would do that. Harly was more like me and didnt want to share. Jadyn must get her generous heart from her dad.
Afterwards, we went and celebrated some more with our friends, the Fletts. It was lots of fun. We actually let the girls stay up the entire time. (they didnt get to bed until midnight-I know I am a bad mom. but hey Halloween only comes once a year) The nice thing was they slept in pretty late the next morning.
It was a fun Halloween, the girls are really getting into an age where they can really enjoy it. Which is super fun for mom and dad.

Your girls are so funny. A diva? That's a pretty creative one! Looks like you had a good time. I hope your kids got very sticky and hopped up on sugar.

Why am I not surprised that Jadyn was giving out her candy? Well, frankly because Dylan did the exact same thing when he found out our candy bowl was empty. He wasn't ready to be done, so he dumped his bucket of candy back into the bowl. But being the greedy mom that I am, I only let him give out a few peices before making him dump it back into his bucket...hey I don't get to go trick or treating, I want the candy! ;)
Looks like you had tons of fun. We miss you. Hey question about the picture of you and Ivana a few posts back... Whose baby is Ivana holding, not hers right???

Heather, I didn't know you had a blog! It's typically the way I keep up with family. So I hope you don't mind if we add you to our list of family members! It looks like you had a fun Halloween. I sure did miss the warm weather Halloween this year. Utah is way too cold for me! It's fun to see what your family is doing. Keep up the posts and check ours out at kevinandamyfamily.blogspot.com.
