Harly and Sady

I walked in to find Harly inside Sady's crate. I asked Harly why she was in there. She simply said, "Because I love Sady!"

Harly truly loves Sady. They love to play together, wrestle and snuggle. It is so cute to see Harly with Sady. Harly can be a little rough with Sady, like pulls her skin and grabs her by the mouth. And Sady just sits there and lets her do it. She is such a good dog. When I was young, I was deathly afraid of dogs. So when I became an adult, I decided that I didn't want my kids to grow up with the same fear. I wanted my kids to grow up with dogs and enjoy having them be part of the family. This has been great for our kids. I think they are learning how to be compassionate towards animals and love the companionship that comes from having a dog. We are also learning the not so appealing parts too. Like the poop and pee, the messes they sometimes make and the occasional chewing of anything and everything. I was a little stressed about dealing with this stuff, but it really isnt so bad. She is basically house trained now and knows what she can chew on. I have found that we just love our little dog to death and can put up with any mess she makes. She is so sweet.

Ok, so now that I am officially one of those pet owner who blogs about their dog. (I never thought I would be. hee hee) I have to talk about our fun puppy school that we did with Sady. It was great, it was at Pet Smart and we learned some great technics that have helped Sady and us get through the puppy stage. And she is doing quite well obedience wise because of it. Harly and I did these classes together, so Harly was able to learn these great technics too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a puppy. It was super!
